For those of you who were unable to watch the ten o’clock news last night, Nic Fiddian Green’s 30 foot high Drinking Horse in bronze was installed on the grass at Marble Arch. Its temporary placing is part of a refurbishment of the public areas in the centre of Marble Arch carried out by Westminster Council. The opening ceremony will take place on Thursday 18 June at 4pm. The Drinking Head’s arrival there also coincides with the opening of Nic’s forthcoming exhibition in Bruton Place on Tuesday 23 June. It will remain in situ for approximately one month for those wishing to visit. Please click here to see a film of the installation |
